* For more information, please read “Why we are cautious about placing our dogs with families that have (young) children.” Character: Tiësto is a cheerful, curious, and affectionate puppy who is fully engaged in exploring the world—as long as he’s in his familiar foster home and in the presence of his foster mother. In this setting, he reveals himself as an uninhibited, playful puppy who loves to go on adventures and wants to examine and sniff everything around him. He learns quickly and thoroughly enjoys the process; he loves being together with others and develops a strong bond with his trusted caregiver. Outside, Tiësto is still somewhat uncertain and occasionally anxious—naturally, given that he grew up in a shelter in rural Romania. He loves cuddling and seeks close proximity to his human companion without being intrusive. Like every puppy, he has occasional bursts of exuberant “puppy energy,” but he also calms down surprisingly well and sleeps soundly once he’s had enough new experiences. Tiësto is a sensitive puppy who finds great comfort and support in his owner. When he encounters something exciting, he deliberately seeks out contact and allows himself to be reassured. Behavior at home: At home, Tiësto is a delightful housemate who can happily entertain himself with his toys—as long as his foster mother is nearby. Dan laat hij zich zien als een onbevangen, speelse pup die graag op onderzoek uitgaat en alles wil bekijken en besnuffelen. Hij leert snel en heeft daar veel plezier in; hij vindt het leuk om samen bezig te zijn en bouwt een sterke band op met zijn vertrouwde verzorger.Buiten is Tiësto nog onzeker en soms angstig; niet vreemd natuurlijk voor een puppy die is opgegroeid in een asiel op het Roemeense platteland. Hij houdt van knuffelen en zoekt graag de nabijheid van zijn eigen mens, zonder daarbij opdringerig te zijn.
