Gleichzeitig ist sie spielfreudig und verschmust und geniesst die Nähe zu ihren Bezugspersonen. Als typische Wächterin hat Tiger einen ausgeprägten Schutz- und Territorialinstinkt. Besonders wenn ihre Bezugsperson sitzt oder steht, beobachtet sie ihre Umgebung aufmerksam und möchte diese gegebenenfalls auch verteidigen. Hier braucht sie Menschen, die ihr Sicherheit geben und sie ruhig und konsequent führen. Tiger bringt zudem Jagdinstinkt mit und zeigt sich gegenüber anderen Hunden je nach Sympathie unterschiedlich. Andere Haustiere sollte es in ihrem neuen Zuhause deshalb nicht geben. Sie möchte die Aufmerksamkeit ihrer Menschen gerne ganz für sich haben.
