Say hello to happy boy Tigger! Tigger was brought into our care as a fake stray and he is now looking for his forever home . He is around 2 years old and is a Belgian mallinois. Tigger is an extremely bright and active boy, he loves going on long adventures with our volunteers and is a perfect gentleman when out on his walks! He loves to enjoy the sniffs of the world around him and would make an incredible hiking buddy for someone. He is also super affectionate, and likes to lean in to his humans for love and fuss. His favourite scratching place is behind his ears and he will give you puppy dog eyes for some more love if you stop. Being a Belgian mallinois, Tigger has high energy levels and an extremely intelligent brain. His new owners will need to have owned dogs before and knowledge of the breed is required. We are looking for a home for Tigger that would like to partake in some fun sports with him , from agility to scentwork he will be sure to get stuck into it all and it will be a great hobby for keeping his busy brain happy. Tigger has shown lots of positive interest in other dogs and he could potentially live with another resident canine . He could also live with dog savvy children 14+ and cats , depending on intros done at the centre. Tigger is currently awaiting a operation to fix his knee cap which has moved out of place. He will remain at the centre until our vet is happy with progress, he will then move to medical foster with his people to continue his recovery. He be rehomed once he is completely signed off by the vets. Tigger is really struggling in the kennel environment, could your sofa be the perfect place for him to feel at home?
