Urgent help for neglected old dogs. Guardian judge in great need. It is known that elderly people rarely want to go to a nursing home or old-age home. Often, this is also due to the fact that there is still a pet that has been with them through a life stage and must be cared for, from which they simply cannot part. This is also the case with Mrs. M., a 92-year-old woman from Nuremberg, with her two female dogs, 13 and 18 years old. But last weekend, nothing worked anymore for the almost blind lady, and she and her guardian were completely overwhelmed by the hygienic conditions and the illness of both dogs. A solution had to be found within 24 hours. Mrs. M. could no longer go outside, and reliable "walker" people could not be found, so the dogs had to do their business inside the house. Hera, the 13-year-old Westie female dog had long suffered from a severe skin allergy. Due to intense itching, she had open skin areas, a leathery skin or even no fur at all. Pus was flowing from her eyes and ears. A general condition like we have never seen before. Tikki, the 18-year-old Poodle female was in a disastrous state of care, as can be seen on the photo. Both dogs can stay at their care place for the rest of their lives; they are now sponsored dogs. That means they will no longer be rehomed. With a sponsorship, food and veterinary costs are supported. Hera gets special food, which is absolutely necessary because of her allergy. Both get a series of medications and are treated by a veterinarian. Show heart for these two nice, very old dogs, who still have so much joy of life.

Soforthilfe für verwahrloste alte Hunde Gerichtliche Betreuerin in großer Not Es ist bekannt, dass alte Menschen nur sehr ungern ins Pflege- oder Altenheim gehen. Oftmals liegt es auch daran, dass noch ein Haustier vorhanden ist, mit dem man einen Lebensabschnitt verbracht hat, das versorgt werden muss und von dem man sich einfach nicht trennen kann. So auch bei Frau M., einer 92jährigen Nürnbergerin mit ihren beiden Hundemädels, 13 und 18 Jahre alt. Doch letztes Wochenende ging bei der fast erblindeten Dame nichts mehr, sie und auch die Betreuerin waren auf Grund der hygienischen Verhältnisse und der Krankheit beider Tiere restlos überfordert. Innerhalb 24 Stunden musste eine Lösung gefunden werden. Frau M. konnte nicht mehr vor die Haustüre und zuverlässige „Gassi Geher“ konnten nicht gefunden werden, so dass die Hunde ihre Notdurft im Haus verrichten mussten. Hera, die 13jährige Westi-Hündin litt schon lange unter einer schlimmen Hautallergie. Durch starken Juckreiz hatte sie offene Hautstellen, eine Lederhaut oder teilweise gar kein Fell mehr. Eiter floss aus Augen und Ohren. Ein Gesamtzustand wie wir es noch nie gesehen haben. Tikki, die 18jährige Pudeldame war ebenso in einem katastrophalen Pflegezustand, wie auf dem Foto zusehen ist. Beide Hunde können bis zum Lebensende auf ihrem Pflegeplatz bleiben, sie sind nun Patenhunde. D.h. sie werden nicht mehr vermittelt. Mit einer Patenschaft werden Futter und Tierarztkosten unterstützt. Hera bekommt ein Spezialfutter, was absolut notwendig wegen ihrer Allergie ist. Beide bekommen eine Reihe Medikamente und werden tierärztlich behandelt. Zeigen Sie Herz für diese beiden netten, uralten Hunde, die noch so viel Lebensfreude haben.
