Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs some support Can I be left alone? Yes Tilly and Joey have been left home alone for up to 3 hours comfortably. Any home alone time will need to be refreshed once they’ve settled in as they will be in a new environment. Do I have any medical conditions? Existing conditions Tilly and Joey both have ongoing medical conditions that will require consideration before these pets are rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home. Due to the nature of the medical conditions, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before these pets go home. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? No Can I live with cats? No Can I live with small pets? Yes, conditionally - Securely housed. Additional information Tilly has been wary of other dogs and will generally choose to continue on her way, she has started to become curious of other similar sized and smaller dogs and is starting to gain her confidence around them, having a little sniff. Joey may occasionally bark at other dogs but he can interested in saying hello and having a quick sniff. He can get overwhelmed quite quickly by other dogs, so they are better keeping to themselves on their walks. They only really have eyes for each other! Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? Tilly and Joey can live with children aged 11+. They both enjoy fuss and affection from their people and really love human companionship! Joey is more sensitive out of the two and prefers gentle handling, but once they’ve got to know you they are the most affectionate pair, often showering you with kisses. What type of environment would suit me? Tilly and Joey will need their own private garden with secure fencing, so that they have a safe space to potter around and explore. Joey may be small in size, but he has a personality that’s larger than life! His favourite things in life are long walks, spending time with his best friend Tilly, and enjoying plenty of cheese. Joey is a confident little character who isn’t afraid to be himself and always keeps those around him smiling. This sweet and affectionate boy adores his people and loves nothing more than being by your side. Whether you’re out exploring or relaxing at home, Joey is happiest when he’s sharing his day with the people he loves. While he has a wonderful bond with Tilly, Joey prefers to keep his circle small and isn’t interested in making friends with other dogs. Joey is looking for a home where he and his best friend Tilly can fit in nicely together and continue sharing their special bond. In return, they’ll bring lots of love, companionship, and plenty of happy moments to their new family. Things to note Tilly is a Yorkshire Terrier cross Chihuahua and she is 6 years, 3 months old. Joey is a Chihuahua and he is 7 years old. They are a bonded pair and will need to be rehomed together.
