Als er zu uns ins Tierheim kam, hatte er große Angst vor Menschen und wusste nicht, dass Nähe auch etwas Schönes sein kann.Doch Tjark hat uns eines bewiesen: Vertrauen kann wachsen. Mit viel Geduld, Ruhe und Liebe hat er eine beeindruckende Entwicklung gemacht. Bei seinen Bezugspersonen ist das Eis längst gebrochen. Er kommt von sich aus auf seine Menschen zu, genießt Streicheleinheiten und sucht aktiv Nähe und Kontakt. Zu sehen, wie dieser einst so verängstigte Kater heute schnurrend Zuwendung einfordert, ist jedes Mal aufs Neue etwas ganz Besonderes.Natürlich trägt Tjark seine Vergangenheit noch in sich. Es gibt Momente, in denen ihn die Unsicherheit wieder einholt. Dann macht er einen Schritt zurück oder begrüßt eine Situation auch mal mit einem Fauchen. Doch inzwischen lässt er sich schnell und ablenken, oft dauert es nur wenige Minuten, bis er wieder neugierig ankommt und den Kontakt sucht.Fremden Menschen begegnet Tjark nach wie vor vorsichtig.
