How do I contact the shelter about Tobi?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tobi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Tobi if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Tobi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Tobi isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tobi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Tobi

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 5 years

Tobi is looking for his human 🏡❤️ Tobi is about 5 months old and at an age where the world should mean primarily play, curiosity and discovering everything around him. 🐱 Instead of his own room, soft blanket and a human just for him, he has a shelter reality for now. And yet such a small cat heart definitely deserves something more. ❤️ Tobi is still a kid who is just learning about the world. His whole life is ahead of him - and we hope that someone will want to go through all its stages with him. From the first games together, through cat pranks, to quiet evenings on the couch. 🥹 Let's not let Tobi grow up in a shelter. He needs a home, and a home needs just such a Tobi. 🏡🐾 📍 Tobi is waiting for his chance at the Animal Shelter in Zamość. 📞 For adoption: 84 641 12 86 783 856 089 ❤️ Share Tobi. Maybe his human is among the people who see this post.

On potrzebuje domu, a dom potrzebuje właśnie takiego Tobiego.

About Tobi

What life with Tobi looks like

Tobi is a small adult mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.
