Toby is een knap rood katertje, die toen hij 6 à 7 weken oud was als heel bang zwervertje in zijn gastgezin terechtkwam. Het leven op straat was geen makkelijke start, maar na drie weken van rust, goede zorg en veel geduld begint hij heel langzaam te ontdekken dat de wereld ook veilig kan zijn. Hij speelt inmiddels vrolijk met zijn pleegzusje en pleegbroertje, rent achter speeltjes aan en geniet zichtbaar van het gezelschap van andere katten. Mensen vindt hij nog erg spannend. Hij kijkt liever eerst van een afstandje toe en laat je nog niet zomaar dichtbij komen. Op sociaal gebied heeft Toby dus nog veel te leren. Voor Toby zoeken we daarom een rustig, liefdevol thuis bij iemand met geduld, kennis van katten en begrip voor zijn tempo. Een huis waar niets hoeft en alles mag groeien.
