Tom and Jerry, two tiny kittens just 2 months old, were rescued from a colony that, unfortunately, is still not controlled. When we remove a litter, our work doesn't end. In fact, we can only truly break this cycle when the adult cats are also spayed. That's why we continue to try to catch the mother of these two little ones, so she can also be spayed and prevent more kittens from being born, doomed to face the same difficulties. Tom and Jerry are still a bit scared. They need us to approach them slowly, calmly, and above all, with great respect for their time. Behind that fear, we've already discovered two playful kittens, curious and who love cuddles. ❤️ And today we had one of those small moments that fill our hearts. It was the first time they had contact with toys... and they loved it! 🧶🐱 These are small victories, but for them they mean a whole world. Each game, each cuddle, and each approach is another step to learn that human hands can also bring affection, security, and love. Tom and Jerry are slowly discovering that life can be much more beautiful than what they've known so far. And we really want to be here to show them that.

Tom e Jerry, dois pequeninos de apenas 2 meses, foram resgatados de uma colónia que, infelizmente, ainda não está controlada. Quando retiramos uma ninhada, o nosso trabalho não termina. Na verdade, só conseguimos quebrar verdadeiramente este ciclo quando os gatos adultos são também esterilizados. Por isso, continuamos a tentar apanhar a mãe destes dois pequenotes, para que também ela possa ser esterilizada e, assim, evitar que nasçam mais gatinhos condenados a enfrentar as mesmas dificuldades. O Tom e o Jerry ainda são um bocadinho assustados. Precisam que nos aproximemos devagar, com calma e, acima de tudo, com muito respeito pelo seu tempo. Por detrás desse medo, já conseguimos descobrir dois gatinhos brincalhões, curiosos e que adoram mimos. ❤️ E hoje tivemos um daqueles pequenos momentos que nos enchem o coração. Foi a primeira vez que tiveram contacto com brinquedos… e adoraram! 🧶🐱 São pequenas conquistas, mas para eles significam um mundo inteiro. Cada brincadeira, cada mimo e cada aproximação é mais um passo para aprenderem que as mãos humanas também podem trazer carinho, segurança e amor.
