Tomino

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Underneath that initial shyness is a calm, affectionate, and deeply loving boy who forms genuine bonds with the people around him. When Tomino feels comfortable, he seeks closeness, enjoys quiet affection, and shows just how special a companion he can be. He has a naturally kind temperament and carries himself with a steady presence that makes him a joy to be around. Tomino gets along very well with other dogs and is also good with cats, making him an easy addition to a multi-pet household. His gentle nature stands out around children, he has met children of different ages and it is important to note that he was exceptionally careful, calm, and kind with a toddler he recently met. He is looking for a patient, loving home that understands that some dogs simply need a little time to feel safe. In return for that patience, Tomino will offer loyalty, affection, and a quiet kind of love that grows stronger every day. He would thrive in a home where he can settle at his own pace, build trust, and finally feel like he belongs.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tomino, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tomino?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Amospet handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tomino on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tomino if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Amospet what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Tomino already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Amospet directly what is included and what Tomino still needs.
What happens if Tomino isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Amospet early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tomino and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
