With our friends from Puntanimals, the shelter is superb. It is October, many hunting dogs were “sorted” by their owners, the summer brought many holiday victims to the kennels and the adoption rates go back to Corona with the strict starting regulations. If you are already despairing where you are supposed to put dogs, and above all how to finance their treatment, accommodation, castration, labelling and much more, a call that is reported by an Animal Hoarding case and in which you are asked to receive some dogs comes far more than simply uneasy. But of course, our partners do whatever is in their power to help every single dog in need. And so more four-legged people moved to the small pension. Toronjo is one of the lucky ones who came to the care of the dedicated animal protectors of Huelva. The funny one-year-old (Stand 10/2024) is funny and offers plenty of space for speculation about his parents and ancestors. The short snout, the green eyes, his caramel fur and his uplifted, curious character let me personally tap on a labra mopsenco – but this is a subjective opinion. In any case, Toronjo is a real unicum waiting for a loving family to be found. Toronjo doesn't know much about the world yet, but he's very interested in catching everything he missed in his first months of life.

Bei unseren Freunden von Puntanimals ist das Tierheim übervoll. Es ist Oktober, viele Jagdhunde wurden von ihren Besitzern „aussortiert“, der Sommer brachte viele Urlaubsopfer in die Zwinger und die Adoptionsraten gehen nach Corona mit den strengen Ausgangsregelungen stetig wieder zurück. Wenn man eh schon am Verzweifeln ist, wo man noch Hunde unterbringen soll, und vor allem, wie man deren Behandlung, Unterbringung, Kastration, Kennzeichnung und vieles mehr finanzieren soll, kommt ein Anruf, der von einem Animal Hoarding-Fall berichtet und in dem um Aufnahme einiger Hunde gebeten wird, weit mehr als einfach nur ungelegen. Aber natürlich tun unsere Partner, was immer in ihrer Macht steht, um jedem einzelnen Hund in Not zu helfen. Und so zogen noch mehr Vierbeiner in die kleine Pension. Toronjo ist einer der Glücklichen, die in die Obhut der engagierten Tierschützer von Huelva kam. Der lustige, noch nicht ganz Einjährige (Stand 10/2024) ist witzig anzusehen und bietet viel Platz für Spekulationen seine Eltern und Vorfahren betreffend. Die kurze Schnauze, die grünen Augen, sein karamellfarbenes Fell und sein aufgeweckter, neugieriger Charakter lassen mich persönlich auf einen Labra-Mopsenco tippen – aber das ist eine subjektive Meinung. Auf jeden Fall ist Toronjo ein echtes Unikum, das darauf wartet, dass sich eine liebevolle Familie findet. Toronjo kennt noch nicht viel von der Welt, aber er ist sehr interessiert daran, alles nachzuholen, was er in seinen ersten Lebensmonaten verpasst hat.
