Trini &#8211

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

Trini now lives in 88348 Bad Saulgau. All the best, little Sunbeam. Heartfelt thanks, Mrs. G. In July 2024, one of Dolmen Animal's animal protectors opened her house door, and there sat Trini. Out of nowhere, the seemingly healthy and well-groomed female dog had appeared, so it was naturally assumed in Huelva that someone would miss Trini, but that was unfortunately not the case. The highly intelligent and eager-to-learn one-year-old (as of August 2024) was allowed to live in the house of her rescuer for the first few weeks and then moved into the small, family-like animal shelter of our friends. In the days in the apartment, Trini was quiet and clingy, always trying to do everything right. Within the first hours, she had fallen in love with the son of the family and used every opportunity to watch movies with the offspring, snuggle on the couch, or simply dream together in the garden. Trini doesn't play and frolic much, although she has been persuaded to play a small game of football on occasion. Her preferred activities are long walks where she shows off her best side on the leash. Trini likes to explore her surroundings and takes her time sniffing out the latest neighborhood news. With other dogs, our affectionate snuggle ball is friendly and clear in her communication, which has earned her many friends at the animal shelter. Trini is also open and curious with cats, sometimes reserved. Trini has the gift of reading her counterpart and reacts appropriately and always calmly, which is really surprising and rare for her age. With Trini, a very special female dog would come into your life. Balanced, attentive, yet also really eager to work and learn, a rare and very beautiful combination. If you are looking for a calm presence for your evenings, a loving companion for stress-free walks, a homework tutor for the offspring, or simply a truly loving lady dog, then you are definitely at the right address with Trini – and we look forward to hearing from you!

Trini lebt jetzt in 88348 Bad Saulgau. Alles Gute kleiner Sonnenschein.

About Trini &#8211

What life with Trini &#8211 looks like

Trini &#8211 is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein ARCA e.V. in Gernsbach.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Trini &#8211, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Trini &#8211?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein ARCA e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Trini &#8211 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Trini &#8211 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein ARCA e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Trini &#8211 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Trini &#8211 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein ARCA e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Trini &#8211 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
