Tristan, a forgotten among the forgotten. This beautiful 7.5-year-old Podenco arrived at the shelter 5.5 years ago, never attracting attention. Arriving in February 2021 at Scooby, Tristan was one of 48 lives terribly mistreated in Andalusia. How could he have been noticed? Overwhelmed with fear, panicking at the sight of certain humans, his suffering has left such a mark, he takes refuge in the shadows. And yet, recently, Tristan dares to approach the hand of his protectors, Fermin and Nieves. He lives alone in a small paddock, surrounded by black Galgos, his reassuring companions. Should Tristan end his life in a shelter? He could only progress in a calm, patient family, respectful of his past, well-versed in fearful Galgos and Podencos, outside the city, ensuring his safety in a well-fenced garden, in the presence of companions and without long absences from humans. Walks will only be possible when trust is established. We are certain, both at the shelter and in the association, that such a family exists. A tender little heart hurt by humans, a broken soul, but one that only asks to reveal itself. Who will become Yseult to free TRISTAN from his armor? You may be who will be touched by his distress.

TRISTAN, un oublié parmi les oubliés. Ce beau podenco de 7,5 ans est arrivé au refuge il y a maintenant 5,5 ans, sans jamais attirer l’attention. Arrivé en février 2021 à Scooby, Tristan faisait partie de ces 48 vies terriblement maltraitées en Andalousie. Comment aurait-il pu se faire remarquer ? Envahi de craintes, d’accès de panique devant certains humains, tant ses souffrances l’ont marqué, se réfugiant dans l’ombre. Et pourtant depuis peu, Tristan ose s’approcher de la main de ses protecteurs, Fermin et Nieves. Il vit seul podenco dans un petit paddock, entouré de galgas noires, ses compagnes rassurantes. Tristan devrait-il finir sa vie dans un refuge ? Il ne pourrait que progresser dans une famille calme, patiente, respectueuse de son passé, connaissant bien galgos et podencos craintifs, hors de la ville, veillant à sa sécurité dans un jardin bien clôturé, en présence de compagnons et sans grandes absences humaines. Les promenades ne seront possibles que lorsque la confiance sera installée. Nous sommes certains tant au refuge que dans l’association, qu’une telle famille existe.
