Tychi

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 6 months

Animal Advocate: Virginia Georgieva Born: approx. April 2026 Sex: female Location: Bulgaria Neutered: no FIV test: negative FeLV test: negative Disabilities: none Compatible with: Children: not known Cats: yes Dogs: not known Requirements: NO single-cat households. Indoor living only, NO outdoor access. A balcony or terrace is desirable (if present, securing it is required). At the animal shelter "Nobody's Pets," Virginia's home is currently overflowing with kittens. New little furballs arrive almost every day—some were found outside, others were simply left in cardboard boxes at the door. Each of these little ones comes with its own story, but from now on everyone is looking only forward! They are lovingly cared for, safe, and eager to soon begin their great adventure with their own people. One of these sweet creatures is little Tychi. These little velvet paws are real heartbreakers and exactly how you imagine young cats: lively, full of energy, and incredibly curious about everything. They love spending their days playing together, romping around, and exploring—and when they get tired, they snuggle up close to each other. They also simply adore us humans, are very sweet, and delight in every bit of petting and cuddle time together. Since no kitten should grow up alone, we only place our little rascals in pairs or together with a suitable playmate of the same age. Growing up together, romping, and cuddling is simply twice as much fun! If you've fallen in love with Tychi, feel free to get in touch with us. Virginia will then check which of the other minis would currently be a suitable companion, and we will introduce you to possible playmates. One thing is certain: with two such tiny whirlwinds, a great deal of life, love, and plenty of cuddle time will be coming into your home. We look forward to hearing from you!

About Tychi

What life with Tychi looks like

Tychi is an extra-large kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tychi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tychi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tychi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tychi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Tychi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tychi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tychi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
