Uma is a 4-year-old calm and clean domestic cat who came to Kisulle at the end of February as a foster. In her previous home, Uma became aggressive due to stress from other cats and a dog that arrived there. Once she moved to her current first home as the only cat, no behavioral problems have occurred anymore. Therefore, Uma is not suitable for adoption to a home with other pets or a family with children. By nature, Uma is a social and people-friendly girl who expects to receive lots of time, attention and play in her new home. She never seems to get tired of playing with toys and chasing them. As the only cat, she should not be left alone for very long periods every day. Uma is an all-eater, mainly likes dry food, but also some wet food as long as it is in gravy. Uma is gentle and quiet in behavior. In the mornings, as soon as a person wakes up, she rubs against the bed, lies on her back and waits for the first pats of the day. She allows being picked up, although she does not yet enjoy it for a long time. Her routine includes going to the balcony right in the morning, so the new home is required to have a screened balcony or a protected terrace. During the veterinary examination, Uma's health was found to be good, and the results of FIV/FELV tests were negative. Vaccination was given for the next three years, and a microchip was implanted. Spaying was already done while she was in a previous home. In March, Uma had a broken lower molar extracted and a dental cleaning done. Uma on Kisulle helmikuun lopulla kodinvaihtajana tullut 4-vuotias kesy ja siisti kotikissa. Aiemmassa kodissa Uma oli käynyt aggressiiviseksi stressaannuttuaan sinne tulleista muista kissoista ja koirasta. Päästyään nykyiseen ensikotiin ainoaksi kissaksi minkäänlaisia käytöshäiriöitä ei ole enää esiintynyt. Siksi Uma ei sovellu luovutettavaksi kotiin, jossa on muita lemmikkejä. Aivan pienten lasten seuralaiseksi Uma ei sähäkän luonteensa vuoksi myöskään sovellu. Luonteeltaan Uma on sosiaalinen ja ihmisläheinen tyttö, joka odottaa saavansa uudessa kodissa runsaasti aikaa, huomiota ja leikittämistä. Erityisesti onkilelun jahtaamiseen se ei tunnu välillä väsyvän millään. Ainoana kissana sitä ei tule jättää myöskään päivittäin yksin kovin pitkiksi ajoiksi. Ruuan suhteen kaikkiruokainen, pääasiassa maistuu kuivaruoka, mutta myös märkää jonkin verran kunhan se on kastikkeessa. Uma on käytökseltään kiltti ja hiljainen, aamuisin heti ihmisen herättyä kipittää sängyn vierelle, heittäytyy siihen selälleen ja odottaa päivän ensimmäisiä rapsutuksia. Se antaa ottaa itsensä myös syliin, vaikkei ainakaan vielä viihdy siinä pidempää aikaa. Rutiineihin kuuluu päästä parvekkeelle heti aamusta, joten uudelta kodilta edellytetään lasitettua parveketta tai suojattua terassia. Eläinlääkärin tarkastuksessa Uman terveydentila todettiin hyväksi ja Fiv/Felv-testien tulokset olivat negatiiviset. Rokotus annettiin seuraavalle kolmelle vuodelle sekä asennettiin siru. Sterilointi on tehty jo joskus aiemmassa kodissa ollessa. Maaliskuussa Umalta poistettiin katkennut alakulmahammas sekä tehtiin hammaskiven poisto.
