Lara - Female dog, spayed, born approximately 2021, shoulder height about 41 cm, at Belchatow Animal Shelter since October 26, 2024 (previously spent 2 years in another animal shelter). The pretty Lara is afraid of the leash and was brought to us by Agnes on her arm. She urinated out of fear while being carried. Her tail was clamped down the whole time, she also had a crouched posture. She was very anxious during our entire observation and was clearly in flight mode. She reacted sensitively to environmental stimuli, especially to passing cars and loud noises. Despite her great uncertainty, she let us pet her carefully. Lara was severely bitten, so she currently sits alone in the kennel, but previously with males and females. (07/2026 MI/MS)

277244 Lara – Hündin, kastriert, geboren ca. 2021, Schulterhöhe ca. 41 cm, im Tierheim Belchatow seit 26.10.2024 (vorher 2 Jahre in einem anderen Tierheim). Die hübsche Lara hat Angst vor der Leine und wird uns kurzerhand von Agnes auf dem Arm gebracht. Sie urinierte vor Angst, während sie getragen wurde. Ihre Rute war die ganze Zeit eingeklemmt, sie hatte auch eine geduckte Körperhaltung. Sie war während der gesamten Beobachtung durch uns sehr ängstlich und stand deutlich im Fluchtmodus. Sensibel reagierte sie auf Umweltreize, insbesondere auf vorbeifahrende Autos und laute Geräusche. Trotz ihrer großen Unsicherheit ließ sie sich vorsichtig von uns streicheln. Lara wurde schlimm gebissen, daher saß sie momentan allein im Zwinger, vorher jedoch zusammen mit Rüden und Hündinnen. (07/2026 MI/MS)
