352983 Ben – Male, neutered, born around 2018, shoulder height approximately 62 cm, in the Belchatow animal shelter since May 10, 2026. A beautiful long-haired German Shepherd can be led on a leash without any problems. He is very thin, although this isn't immediately obvious due to his long coat. At first, he keeps his distance from strangers and approaches us in a curved path. Towards men and unfamiliar people, he initially shows caution and needs some space. After a short while, however, he becomes more curious, starts sniffing around, and approaches us on his own. With a bit of patience, he eventually allows us to touch him as well. He observes his surroundings attentively and calmly. When we make sudden movements, Ben gets startled and seeks refuge behind the caregiver. He is a sensitive, cautious male who shares his exercise area with both male and female dogs. (07/2026 MI/MS) According to the Belchatow animal shelter, Ben was tested with cats in the cat house and showed no signs of aggression—see photos.

352983 Ben – Rüde, kastriert, geboren ca. 2018, Schulterhöhe ca. 62 cm, im Tierheim Belchatow seit 10.05.2026. Ein wunderschöner Langhaarschäferhund wird uns problemlos an der Leine gebracht. Er ist sehr dünn, was im ersten Moment wegen seines langen Felles nicht auffällt. Zu fremden Menschen hält er zunächst Abstand und nähert sich uns in einem Bogen. Gegenüber Männern und unbekannten Personen zeigt er sich anfangs vorsichtig und benötigt Distanz. Nach kurzer Zeit wird er neugieriger, beginnt zu schnüffeln und nähert sich uns von selbst. Mit etwas Geduld lässt er sich schließlich auch von uns anfassen. Er beobachtet seine Umgebung aufmerksam und ruhig. Bei schnellen Bewegungen von uns erschreckt sich Ben und sucht Schutz hinter der Pflegerin. Ein sensibler, vorsichtiger Rüde, der seinen Auslauf mit Rüden und Hündinnen teilt. (07/2026 MI/MS) Lt. Tierheim Belchatow wurde Ben im Katzenhaus mit Katzen getestet, er zeigte keinerlei Aggression – s. Fotos.
