Donnie ist ein freundlicher, menschenbezogener und verschmuster Rüde, der die Nähe seiner Bezugspersonen sehr genießt. Mit seinem liebevollen Wesen gewinnt er schnell die Herzen seiner Menschen. Mit anderen Rüden versteht sich Donnie leider nicht. Bei Hündinnen entscheidet die Sympathie. Daher sollten Begegnungen mit Artgenossen stets individuell eingeschätzt werden.
