I reflected on one puppy after the big anniversary celebration. I went back and forth, until I found a good person who took pity on me. And I stayed there. They said they had thrown me out of the car. And my memory faded… I only remember those times when I was small… How I was loved! How they called me with sweet, tender words… I don’t want to remember anything else from my past. I wanted to stay that little loved puppy… Now I don’t have the right to live at all. I return only when I see the tag on the collar—go, we are going. And we go, not for long, but with new jumps, new feelings. Sleep, lying in a position on the hay… To get through. To find a friend, to be able to play like that again… To go everywhere together. To be able to protect my Human’s warm nest beside… Ech…

Atklydau pas vieną močiutę po didžiųjų metų švenčių. Ėjau ėjau, kol radau gerą žmogų, kuris mane pamaitino. Na ir pasilikau ten. Kalba, kad mane išmetė iš automobilio. O man atmintis išsitrynė… Pamenu tik tuos laikus, kai buvau mažas… Kaip mane mylėjo! Kaip vadino visokiais mielais ausiai žodžiais… Daugiau nieko nenoriu prisiminti iš savo praeities. Norėčiau likti tuo mažu mylimu šuniuku… Dabar visai neturiu ūpo gyventi. Atsigaunu tik tada, kai pamatau, kad pas mane ateina su pavadėliu- reiškia, eisim. Ir einam, tegul neilgai, bet vis nauji kvapai, nauji įspūdžiai. Svajoju, gulėdamas būdoje ant šiaudų… Kad man pasisektų. Kad rasčiau draugą, pas kurį vėl galėčiau žaisti taip, kaip tada…. Kad eitume visur kartu. Kad galėčiau saugoti savo Žmogaus ramų miegą šalia… Ech… Su meile, Ūpas
