Since arriving at the shelter, Valou has proven to be an attentive, affectionate, and curious dog. He is confident in his paws, with a pleasant and endearing personality. Valou tends to protect the one at the end of the leash, and during walks, he can be reactive to cars. These behaviors will need to be accompanied and worked on patiently to help him feel more secure and relaxed outdoors. He gets along well with other female animals of the same species, while interactions with males will need to be gradually developed in a structured and safe environment.

Depuis son arrivée au refuge, Valou se révèle être un chien à l’écoute, affectueux et curieux. C’est un chien bien dans ses pattes, avec une personnalité agréable et attachante. Valou a tendance à protéger celui qui est au bout de la laisse, et lors des balades, il peut se montrer réactif face aux voitures. Ces comportements devront être accompagnés et travaillés avec patience pour lui permettre de se sentir plus sûr et détendu à l’extérieur. Il s’entend bien avec ses congénères femelles, tandis que les ententes avec les mâles devront être travaillées progressivement, dans un cadre encadré et sécurisant.
