CHARACTER, HISTORY, AND HEALTH: This mixed breed border collie is one of our SPECIAL CASES. She is a beauty like her mother KEILA, as you can see, and she also has a lot of energy. She is very social with other dogs and goes out to the yard with them without any problems. She is a SPECIAL CASE because she came with her mother KEILA, with many fears towards humans, men, and women. She hasn’t been touched for a long time, but thanks to the patience and dedication of a volunteer from the animal rescue association, the dog has been breaking down the barrier she had and has managed to eat from the hand, let herself be petted, and walk a little on a leash... small achievements that were unthinkable before. She still needs a lot of work, patience, and dedication, but we can see that she is on a path of improvement in her anxiety and confidence towards people. The ideal would be to find at least one FOSTER CARE HOME that already has experience in caring for dogs with fears. Having her in an experienced home will help her improve little by little. Es muy sociable con otros perros, y sale al patio con ellos sin problemas. Es un CASO ESPECIAL porque vino junto con su madre KEILA , con muchos miedos hacia los humanos, hombres y mujeres. No se ha dejado tocar por mucho tiempo, pero es ahora, desde hace unos meses que gracias a la paciencia y dedicación de una voluntaria de la protectora, la perra ha ido rompiendo la barrera que tenía y ha conseguido que coma de la mano, que se deje acariciar, y que camine un poco con la correa... pequeños logros que antes eran impensables. Todavía necesita mucho trabajo, paciencia y dedicación, pero ya vemos que está en un camino de mejora de su ansiedad y confianza hacia las personas. Lo ideal sería encontrar al menos una CASA DE ACOGIDA que tenga experiencia ya en el cuidado de perros con miedos. Tenerla en un hogar experimentado le ayudará a ir mejorando poco a poco.
