Vicke is a cat with plenty of personality and a very unique way of communicating. He may grumble and hiss a bit when something feels uncertain, but don’t be fooled—beneath that tough exterior lies a curious and charming cat who loves to join in and keep an eye on everything that’s going on. When Vicke first arrived, he was shy and tended to stay hidden, but as he’s become more confident, he’s started to show his true self. Today, he’ll happily come over to see what you’re up to, and if you’ve opened a can of tuna, there’s a good chance he’ll quickly appear. He really enjoys being scratched, especially around the face, and when he’s really relaxing, he might both purr and knead with his paws. Being lifted, however, still makes him a bit uneasy, so his future family will need to respect his boundaries and let him take things at his own pace. Vicke loves to climb to high places, snuggle in cozy nooks, hide in closets, and explore other exciting hiding spots. He enjoys exploring his surroundings, watching out the window, and noticing everything from flying insects to new sounds and smells. Vicke came to Örebro Cat Shelter together with another cat, but he made it clear from the start that he wanted to live alone. From now on, Vicke would like to live by himself, without any other pets. Vicke has tooth resorption (formerly known as FROL). He’s already had seven teeth extracted and will need to continue attending annual check-ups. Vicke is looking for a calm and patient home where he can keep developing at his own pace. Vicke could appreciate having access to a safe outdoor space, but only once he’s completely settled and comfortable in his new home. Admitted to Emergency Shelter on 260428.

Vicke är en kille med mycket personlighet och ett alldeles eget sätt att kommunicera. Han kan morra och väsa lite när något känns osäkert, men låt dig inte luras bakom den tuffa fasaden finns en nyfiken och charmig katt som gärna vill vara med och hålla koll på allt som händer. När Vicke först kom var han blyg och höll sig gärna undan, men i takt med att han blivit tryggare har han börjat visa vem han egentligen är. Idag kommer han gärna fram för att se vad du pysslar med, och har du öppnat en burk tonfisk är chansen stor att han snabbt dyker upp. Han uppskattar att bli kliad, särskilt runt ansiktet, och när han riktigt njuter kan han både kurra och trampa med tassarna. Att bli upplyft är däremot lite läskigt fortfarande så hans framtida familj behöver respektera hans gränser och låta honom ta saker i sin egen takt. Vicke söker sig gärna till höga platser, mysiga kojor, garderober och andra spännande gömställen. Han tycker om att utforska sin omgivning, hålla utkik genom fönstret och fånga allt från flygfän till nya ljud och dofter. Vicke kom till Örebro katthem tillsammans med en annan katt men han visade tydligt att han ville bo själv redan från början. Vicke vill i fortsättningen bo själv utan andra djur. Vicke har tandresorption ( tidigare kallat FROL ). Han har fått tagit ut 7 tänder och kommer att behöva fortsätta gå på årliga kontroller. Vicke söker ett lugnt och tålmodigt hem där han kan få fortsätta utvecklas i sin egen takt. Vicke skulle kunna uppskatta en trygg utevistelse men det gäller att han är helt trygg i sitt nya hem först. Inkom i Jourhem 260428
