Vienetta

English Bulldog · Female · Young · 3 years

Meet our lovely lady, Vienetta! Vienetta is a gorgeous French Bulldog with a heart of gold. Since arriving in our care, she has been an absolute sweetheart – friendly with everyone she meets and happiest when she's receiving plenty of fuss and attention. She is looking for owners who have some knowledge of the breed and are happy to continue her basic training while helping her settle into her new home. Vienetta enjoys the company of other dogs and is a social, friendly girl. She could potentially live with another dog, provided they are a suitable match – ideally a tolerant and confident companion who enjoys a play but also respects her space. She has shown some chase behaviours while in our care, so unfortunately she isn't able to live with cats. She is looking for a home anywhere in the UK. While she'd love a secure private garden to relax in, this isn't essential as long as her new family can provide regular toilet breaks and plenty of opportunities to get out and about. Vienetta is the loveliest girl, but she can be a little mouthy when she's excited, so she is best suited to a home with teenagers aged 13+ who can be involved in her ongoing training. This beautiful girl is more than ready to find a home to call her own, where she can put up her paws, soak up all the love and attention she deserves, and become a much-loved member of the family. She's sure to make a wonderful companion for the lucky people who welcome her home. If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Vienetta, you can e-mail our rehoming team on to register your interest. ch for the dog in question.

About Vienetta

What life with Vienetta looks like

Vienetta is a small young adult english bulldog dog waiting at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Vienetta, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Vienetta?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Battersea Dogs & Cats Home handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Vienetta on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Vienetta if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Battersea Dogs & Cats Home will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Vienetta already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Vienetta isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home early rather than rehoming privately; they know Vienetta and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
