Αγαπημένη μου μελλοντική οικογένεια, Με λένε Βιολέτα και, αν και δεν μπορώ να μιλήσω τη γλώσσα σου, ελπίζω να ακούσεις την καρδιά μου μέσα από αυτά τα λόγια. Μόλις πριν λίγο καιρό δεν ήξερα τι είναι η αγάπη ή η ασφάλεια. Περιπλανιόμουν στην παραλία του Λουτρακίου, μόνη, φοβισμένη και πεινασμένη. Μια μέρα, μέσα στην απόγνωσή μου να βρω κάτι να φάω, ένιωσα έναν οξύ πόνο. Ένα αγκίστρι ψαρέματος είχε καρφωθεί βαθιά στο στόμα μου. Θυμάμαι ακόμη τον πόνο, τον φόβο… και μετά, κάποιος με είδε και ζήτησε βοήθεια. Εκείνη η στιγμή άλλαξε τη ζωή μου. Στον κτηνίατρο ήμουν αδύναμη και τρομαγμένη, αλλά ένιωσα ασφάλεια από τους ανθρώπους που με φρόντιζαν. Αφαίρεσαν το αγκίστρι, περιποιήθηκαν τις πληγές μου και ανακάλυψαν ότι είχα Ερλιχείωση και Ανάπλασμα. Δεν καταλάβαινα τις λέξεις . Μόνο ότι με βοηθούσαν και δεν ήμουν πια αόρατη. Μετά τη θεραπεία και τη στείρωση, έγινα πιο δυνατή. Λένε ότι πλέον, είμαι 28 κιλά. Τώρα, είμαι έτοιμη για το επόμενο κεφάλαιο: εσένα. Μου αρέσει να παίζω και να εξερευνώ, είμαι φιλική και παιχνιδιάρα με άλλα σκυλιά. Έχω ενέργεια για βόλτες και περιπέτειες, αλλά αγαπώ και τις ήσυχες στιγμές , όταν κάποιος χαϊδεύει το κεφάλι μου και μου λέει ότι είμαι ασφαλής. Το πιο μεγάλο μου όνειρο είναι μια οικογένεια που θα με δει για αυτό που είμαι: ένα γλυκό και πιστό κορίτσι που πιστεύει ξανά στην αγάπη.
