Wattoa ei sijoiteta ainoaksi koiraksi, vaan hän tarvitsee suunnilleen samankokoisen tai hieman isomman koirakaverin. Koska Watto on melko herkkä luonteeltaan, on pikkulapsiperheen arki hänelle todennäköisesti turhan hektistä. Hän ei siis sovi perheeseen, jossa on ihan pieniä lapsia.
