Ich bin der Winkler, ein blauer Wellensittich. Gerne möchte ich in ein neues Zuhause zu einem Partnervogel ziehen. Wellensittiche stammen eigentlich aus Australien und werden von dort aus als Haustiere in die ganze Welt exportiert. Inzwischen gibt es in fast allen Ländern der Welt zudem Wellensittich-Zuchten. Wellensittiche, die in freier Wildbahn leben, bevorzugen halbtrockene bis trockene Gebiete, wobei sie in der Regel nicht in Wäldern zu finden sind. Bekannt sind die Wellis, die als die beliebtesten Haustier-Vögel der Welt gelten, vor allem wegen ihres bunten, auffälligen Gefieders. Außerdem sind sie vergleichsweise klein und im Vergleich zu anderen Vogelarten wie beispielsweise Papageien sehr leise.
