These two gerbils were surrendered due to a move. They bring a great, large enclosure of almost 2 meters in length. The enclosure should not contain too many levels, as otherwise, territorial fights can easily occur. More than 2 animals should not be kept together. The pet populations are usually overbred and in the wild, they can avoid each other. The animals are almost purely observation animals. They sometimes like to steal pine nuts from your hand. Rennmaushaltung ist recht anspruchsvoll. Diese beiden wurden aufgrund eines Umzuges bei uns abgegeben. Sie bringen eine tolle, große Unterkunft von knapp 2 m Länge mit. Das Gehege darf nicht zu viele Etagen enthalten, da sonst leicht Revierkämpfe entstehen. Mehr als 2 Tiere sollten nicht zusammen gehalten werden. Die Haustier-Populationen sind meist überzüchtet und in der freien Natur können sie sich aus dem Weg gehen. Die Tiere sind fast reine Beobachtungstiere. Sie klauen einem mal gerne Pinienkern aus der Hand. Aber das war es meist schon. Wer mag den beiden Mädels ein Zuhause geben?
