How do I contact the shelter about Wigor?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Wigor on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Wigor if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Wigor already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Wigor isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Wigor and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Here's a clear, natural English translation of the Polish animal-shelter listing, preserving the animal names, breed names, shelter names, and dates exactly as they appear in the original text: "Meet Vigor, a gentleman who treats daily walks like a fashion show. 💖 Always dressed in a black suit, a snow-white wide tie that stretches all the way to his belly, and perfectly matched white socks. This dog knows how to make a good impression on the neighborhood. 😉 Despite his dynamic name, Vigor is an oasis of elegance and good manners, although sometimes a playful child awakens in him. 🧒🏻👶🏻 When he's filled with positive energy, he might jump up on the leash. He does this solely out of pure desire to play and enjoy the closeness of a human. 🙂 Walking on a leash is a level hard. Vigor moves like a professional model. No pulling, pure class and perfect pace right by your leg. He's glued to your leg like a piece of chewing gum. 😉 The dog loves people so much that at the sight of you, he immediately starts the procedure like in a rally, "wheels up." 🏎️ Exposing his belly for petting is his main life passion. To most of his friends, Vigor is happy to run, but he has his honor. If a dog goes too far, this elegant gentleman will politely but firmly set the boundary. Looking for a slender, tall companion who will bring a lot of energy and love into your life? Vigor reports readiness for adoption! Book an appointment for a meeting! Because the dog can stand beautifully on two legs. It looks like he wants to personally shake your hand and sign the adoption agreement! 📍 Vigor is in the Canis Shelter for Homeless Animals in Kruszewo - about 100 km from Warsaw and Bialystok. 🦴 You can visit him every weekend from 10am to 4pm. 📞 Contact for adoption or more information: 502 750 530 Can't adopt? Robi to wyłącznie z czystej chęci zabawy i radości z bliskości człowieka. Wigor melduje gotowość do adopcji! Rezerwuj termin na zapoznanie! Bo psiak potrafi pięknie stać na dwóch łapach. Wygląda wtedy, jakby chciał osobiście uścisnąć Ci dłoń i podpisać umowę adopcyjną! 📍 Wigor przebywa w Schronisku dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt Canis w Kruszewie – ok. 100 km od Warszawy i Białegostoku. 🦴 Można go odwiedzić w każdy weekend w godzinach ! 📞 Kontakt w sprawie adopcji lub więcej informacji: 502 750 530 Nie możesz adoptować? About Wigor

What life with Wigor looks like

Wigor is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.
