Wirbelwind

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 4 years

Princess Vivi is a playful, sometimes mischievous female dog, approximately 25 cm tall and 7-8 kg, born around February 2022. She is friendly with both dogs and cats. **Photos and videos available upon request.** We present: Princess Vivi - the fun, playful, and sometimes cheeky little girl who is still waiting for her forever home! Vivi was born in early 2022 and is the perfect size for those seeking a small but fiery companion. She loves being the center of attention and wants to be the star of the show. Sometimes she is a bit cunning to get what she wants, especially when it comes to food! She has a bit of a chubby look, but with enough exercise, she will lose weight in her new home. Unfortunately, we don't know much about Vivi's past, but we do know she was rescued from the Breasta shelter last year. She gets along well with the other dogs and cats at the shelter but would also thrive as a single princess with people who can set loving boundaries. Do you want to give Princess Vivi a royal place in your life? Then contact us and maybe you'll be the one to crown her in her own home! Vivi will travel with a TRAACES international pet passport, microchip, deworming, flea/tick prevention, vaccinations against parvovirus, distemper, leptospirosis, and rabies, and her own safety harness. Due to legal regulations, we only place dogs in Germany or bordering countries. Before traveling, Vivi will be tested for Giardia and four Mediterranean diseases using a SNAP4 test. After three days at a German foster home, she will be ready to move to her forever home. Adoption fee: €390 We are happy to answer your questions, send photos or videos, and help find the perfect match for both dog and potential owner. Please fill out the self-disclosure form if you are serious about adopting Vivi!

DE·Show original

About Wirbelwind

What life with Wirbelwind looks like

Wirbelwind is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Wirbelwind, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Wirbelwind?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Wirbelwind on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Wirbelwind if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Wirbelwind already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Wirbelwind isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Wirbelwind and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
