At his previous owner, Xanto bit people and caused partial serious injuries. The male dog was taken in by the authorities and subsequently came to our animal shelter. Xanto quickly adapted to the shelter environment, and we could observe that there is also a different, uncomplicated side to him. However, this side only shows itself when he receives clear leadership from his human. Xanto behaves impeccably and is completely unobtrusive when he has a confident human by his side. With other dogs, Xanto gets along well, especially with female dogs. There are also a few male dogs with whom he gets along, but this very much depends on his counterpart. Xanto is an agile dog who enjoys being occupied and wants a lot of movement. Given the serious biting incident at his previous owner, his new people should always be aware that the handsome male dog can also be different. Due to this, he is definitely not a dog for beginners – quite the opposite. We are looking for Xanto for very experienced dog owners who are already comfortable handling difficult dogs.

Bei seinem Vorbesitzer hat Xanto Menschen gebissen und zum Teil schwer verletzt. Der Rüde wurde durch das Ordnungsamt eingezogen und kam daraufhin in unser Tierheim. Xanto hat sich im Tierheim schnell eingelebt, und wir konnten feststellen, dass es auch eine ganz andere, unkomplizierte Seite an ihm gibt. Allerdings zeigt sich diese Seite nur, wenn er klare Führung von seinem Menschen erhält. Xanto benimmt sich vorbildlich und verhält sich völlig unauffällig, wenn er einen souveränen Menschen an seiner Seite hat. Mit anderen Hunden kommt Xanto gut zurecht, besonders mit Hündinnen. Es gibt auch den einen oder anderen Rüden, mit dem er zurechtkommt, aber hier kommt es sehr auf sein Gegenüber an. Xanto ist ein agiler Hund, der gerne beschäftigt wird und viel Bewegung möchte. Da der Beißvorfall bei seinem vorherigen Besitzer recht gravierend war, sollten seine neuen Menschen sich immer darüber im Klaren sein, dass der hübsche Rüde auch anders kann. Aufgrund dessen ist er definitiv kein Hund für Anfänger - im Gegenteil. Wir suchen für Xanto sehr erfahrene Hundehalter, die bereits sicher im Umgang mit schwierigen Hunden sind.
