Her story: In mid-December, Xenia arrived in Germany and now lives in a foster home in Freiburg. However, it's a bit too bustling for her: the busy street with trams, cars, and many people right outside the door plus all the visitors in the house stress the little mouse. On the other hand, she gets great joy from playtime and cuddle sessions with her people and the confident second dog of the foster home. She also handles other dog encounters very well! While Xenia has problems with the many stimuli outside, she stands calmly in front of clattering pots and the vacuum cleaner inside, playing and showing curiosity. The little mouse can already sit and stay, runs nicely on a leash in a quiet environment, and understands that she should do her business outside. Xenia is a clever, curious, and eager female dog, but she is also a sensitive soul that needs patience, love, and a clear, consistent hand. She is looking for a quiet home with dog-experienced people who are ready and have enough time to gently introduce her to the world. She wants to get to know visits, car rides, walks, and encounters with people and other dogs at her own pace. Xenia feels most comfortable in a quiet residential area, ideally in close proximity to a nice street area. A confident second dog could be a great help and make the adjustment easier for her. Ihre Geschichte: Mitte Dezember reiste Xenia nach Deutschland und lebt nun in einer Pflegestelle in Freiburg. Doch hier ist es ihr oft ein bisschen zu trubelig: Die große Straße mit Trams, Autos und vielen Menschen direkt vor der Tür plus die ganzen Besucher im Haus stressen die kleine Maus. Was ihr hingegen große Freude bereitet, sind die Spieleinheiten und Kuschelstunden mit ihren Menschen und dem souveränen Zweithund der Pflegestelle. Andere Hundebegegnungen meistert sie auch bereits sehr gut! Zwar hat Xenia draußen Probleme mit den vielen Reizen, aber drinnen steht sie klappernden Töpfen und Staubsaugern gelassen, spielerisch und mit Neugierde gegenüber. Die kleine Maus kann schon Sitz und Platz, läuft in ruhiger Umgebung bereits ganz schön an der Leine und hat verstanden, dass sie ihr Geschäft draußen verrichten soll. Xenia ist eine kluge, neugierige und gelehrige Hündin, aber sie ist auch ein sensibles Seelchen, das Geduld, Liebe und eine klare, konsequente Hand braucht. Sie sucht ein ruhiges Zuhause bei hundeerfahrenen Menschen, die bereit sind und genug Zeit haben, sie sanft an die Welt heranzuführen. Besuch, Autofahren, Spaziergänge und Begegnungen mit Menschen und Hunden – all das will sie in ihrem Tempo kennenlernen.
