Yaya *Gnadenplatz gesucht*

Chihuahua · Female · Senior · 13 years

Yaya – Mercy Place Sought! Breed: Mix Gender: female Born: ca. March 2013 Shoulder height: 31 cm Weight: 3.5 kg Compatible with dogs: yes Compatible with children: yes Compatible with cats: yes Our Yaya is currently doing quite poorly. She hardly eats. However, a blood test showed no abnormalities; physically, she is doing well. Mentally, however, not so much. At the shelter, she is subdued – too much commotion, too loud, no real security. Many people would like to give Yaya a nice home, but first, she must feel better. The long, stressful transport would be too much for her at the moment. Laysa has taken the little female dog in for care and is trying to fatten her up – with extra cooked food and lots of love. Dear potential adopters, we ask for your patience! Of course, we will keep you updated on Yaya’s health. Thank you for your understanding! Yaya was found in an empty hall on the outskirts of town. No one knows how long she had been there. While she is safe at the shelter, it is not the right place for an older female dog. She needs warmth, a cozy bed, peace, and, above all, lots and lots of love. When walking, her hind legs tremble, and she tires quickly, but she wants to live, be loved, and give love. She is a treasure, gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, and just needs people who have patience with her and help her on walks when she can no longer walk on her own. Would you like to give Yaya a comfortable home? Do you know that she probably still has a lot to learn and is not as fit as she used to be due to her age? That doesn’t bother you, and you are willing to invest time and patience? Wonderful! Come and visit our homepage and get in touch with us! We will then get in touch with you.

Yaya – Gnadenplatz gesucht! Rasse: Mix Geschlecht: weiblich Geboren ca. März 2013 Schulterhöhe: 31 cm Gewicht: 3,5 kg Verträglich mit Hunden: ja Verträglich mit Kindern: ja Verträglich mit Katzen: ja Unserer Yaya geht es zurzeit ziemlich schlecht. Sie will kaum fressen.

About Yaya *Gnadenplatz gesucht*

What life with Yaya *Gnadenplatz gesucht* looks like

Yaya *Gnadenplatz gesucht* is a senior chihuahua dog waiting at Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. in Germany.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Yaya *Gnadenplatz gesucht*, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Yaya *Gnadenplatz gesucht*?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Yaya *Gnadenplatz gesucht* on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Yaya *Gnadenplatz gesucht* if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Yaya *Gnadenplatz gesucht* already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Yaya *Gnadenplatz gesucht* isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Yaya *Gnadenplatz gesucht* and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
