This animal can be adopted if there is suitable space after sufficient familiarization. Yoda was found by attentive passersby with harness and leash in a dog transport box. No owners have come forward, so we are now searching for a new home for him. He is a Spaniel-mixed breed, and it is likely that a Breton Spaniel was part of his lineage. Judging by his behavior and build, it seems he spent most of his life in tethering. Due to this certainly stress-free upbringing, he is quite overwhelmed and stressed by his environment. He also reacts more stressed to fellow animals. We would prefer a single spot in a quiet environment for him. Through regular training and good exercise by his diligent walker, he makes great progress and is increasingly enjoying his walks. He travels by car happily and is also relatively relaxed. With his people, he is very cuddly and in need of support. He generally approaches people friendly and open-minded, and we could also envision him in a household with older children (teens). At 11 years old, he is an older gentleman who still brings energy.

Yoda wurde von aufmerksamen Passanten mit Geschirr und Leine in einer Hundetransportbox gefunden. Es haben sich keine Besitzer gemeldet und so suchen wir für ihn nun ein neues Zuhause. Er ist ein Spaniel-Mischling, vermutlich hat ein Epagneul Breton (Breton Spaniel) bei ihm mitgespielt. Seinem Verhalten und Körperbau nach zu urteilen ist naheliegend, dass er den Großteil seines Lebens in Anbindehaltung verbracht hat. Durch dieses, sicherlich reizarme Aufwachsen, ist er mit seiner Umwelt recht überfordert und gestresst. Er reagiert auch auf Artgenossen eher gestresst und wir würden für ihn eher einen Einzelplatz, in ruhiger Umgebung suchen. Durch regelmäßiges Training und gute Auslastung durch seine fleißige Spaziergeherin macht er aber sehr gute Fortschritte und schafft es immer mehr seine Spaziergänge zu genießen. Mit dem Auto fährt er gerne und ist da auch relativ entspannt. Mit seinen Menschen ist er durchaus sehr verschmust und anlehnungsbedürftig. Er geht grundsätzlich freundlich und aufgeschlossen auf Menschen zu und wir könnten ihn uns auch in einem Haushalt mit älteren Kindern (Teenagern) vorstellen. Er ist mit seinen, geschätzten 11 Jahren, schon ein älterer Herr, der aber durchaus noch Energie mitbringt.
