Youp has been rehomed. Unfortunately, he didn't turn out to be a good match for the cats already living in the home. As a result, Youp experienced a great deal of stress. That's why we're now looking for a new home for him—one that doesn't have any other cats. Youp is a beautiful 5-year-old Oriental Shorthair. He absolutely loves attention and doesn't like being left alone at home. He can handle short periods of solitude, but not all day long. He's truly a typical Oriental Shorthair! He also enjoys curling up on laps. And he’s quite the chatterbox too! We won't place him in a household with young children, as he feels anxious around them. Other cats and/or dogs are also a definite no-go. Youp has smaller airways, which is why he’s already undergone two surgeries by a specialist. You can hear his breathing, but otherwise he doesn’t seem to be bothered by it. Youp loves being outdoors, so we’re looking for a new home with a securely enclosed garden—either a run or a cat-proof enclosure equipped with fencing and wire mesh from, for example, Tuintijgers (www.tuintijgers.nl). In the past, Youp had bladder problems, which is why he’s been given a special diet food: Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary s/o. Fortunately, this food is only slightly more expensive than standard food (Royal Canin Fit 32)*.

Youp is afgestaan. Hij bleek helaas niet te matchen met de al aanwezige katten. Youp had daardoor veel stress. Vandaar dat wij nu een nieuw thuis voor hem gaan zoeken waar géén andere katten wonen. Youp is een prachtige Oosterse korthaar van 5 jaar. Hij is dol op aandacht en is niet graag alleen thuis. Even moet kunnen, maar niet hele dagen. Een typische Oosterse korthaar dus! Hij komt ook graag op schoot liggen. Hij kan ook lekker "kletsen". We plaatsen hem niet in een huishouden met jonge kinderen, want daar is hij bang voor. Ook andere katten en/of honden zijn een no go. Youp heeft kleinere luchtwegen. Hij is om die reden ook al twee keer geopereerd door een specialist. U hoort zijn ademhaling, maar hij ervaart hier verder geen last van. Youp is graag buiten. Hij zoekt dus een nieuw thuis met een afgesloten tuin (ren of catproof afgezet met beugels en draad van bijvoorbeeld Tuintijgers (www.tuintijgers.nl)). In het verleden had Youp blaasproblemen. Vandaar dat hij dieetvoer krijgt. Dit is Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary s/o. Gelukkig is dit voer maar iets duurder dan het standaard voer (Royal Canin Fit 32)*.
