Yuna und Ayla

British Shorthair · Female · Kitten · 1 month

Hallo, we are Yuna & Ayla! We are two cat girls and are looking for our forever home together. We were both born in mid-August and came to our foster home at about 34 weeks. Since we were still small at this time, we had to be bottle-fed initially. As a result, we have been accustomed to humans from an early age and are therefore very human-oriented, affectionate and playful. I am Yuna, the darker of the two. For my age, I am a rather quiet girl. But of course, I also have my wild five minutes and then it's time to play and romp. I especially like to lie right next to my humans, preferably directly on them. And when I've made myself comfortable there, it can happen that I start to fish with my paws in my face. After all, I have to check if my human is still there. And I am Ayla, the lighter one. I am very fixated on my humans and would like to be with them all the time. I am also quite talkative and like to tell what I'm thinking or what I want from my humans. I am a very sweet girl and, as my humans would say, just a little dream cat. We get along very well and would therefore also like to stay together in the future. We are looking for a home in apartment keeping. A balcony would be great, so that we can observe the world together and enjoy fresh air. To be sure, all windows and also the balcony must be secured with a suitable cat net. We can also imagine sensible children in our new home. It is important that they understand that we are not cuddly toys, respect our boundaries and treat us lovingly. If you live in a rented apartment, a written confirmation from your landlord about cat keeping should be available, so that it is clear from the beginning that we can move in with you. Our new home should also be in Stuttgart or the surrounding area. For our vaccinations and later also for our castration, we still have to come to the animal shelter once. So our future people can bring us to our appointments without any problems. If you want to get to know us, please write an e-mail to and tell us a little about you: Who are you? How do you live? What does our future home look like? Is there a balcony? Do you already have experience with cats and do other animals live with you? We are very excited to get to know our future people. See you soon, Yuna and Ayla 🐾❤️

About Yuna und Ayla

What life with Yuna und Ayla looks like

Yuna und Ayla is a small kitten british shorthair cat waiting at Tierheim Stuttgart in Stuttgart.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Yuna und Ayla, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Yuna und Ayla?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Stuttgart handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Yuna und Ayla on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Yuna und Ayla if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Stuttgart will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Yuna und Ayla already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Yuna und Ayla isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Stuttgart early rather than rehoming privately; they know Yuna und Ayla and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
