Yuta (Юта)

Husky · Female · Adult · 4 years

Utah is a delicate beauty who came to us in 2022. I don't know how she ended up on the street, but she approached people hoping they would shelter her, feed her, and help her. However, people didn't let her into the yard - they kept her behind the fence. Later, Utah became pregnant. No one sought help to have her spayed, and she gave birth. But some person poisoned all her puppies. When I saw Utah, she was just a skeleton. She was hanging from a leash, she had strong discharges. I didn't hesitate to take her, and we ran to the clinic. It turned out that she had pyometra, a serious inflammation, and very strong lactation. Utah was on the edge of life. We fought - and saved her. Utah is an incredible active dog, a real mega energy machine. She is a husky mix: she can jump over a two-meter fence, it's hard for her to sit still. She approaches only people who love long walks, have an active lifestyle, and are ready to give her a lot of attention. Utah is now about four years old. She is delicate, gentle, and very loyal dog. If you like this beauty - she is waiting for a real family.

About Yuta (Юта)

What life with Yuta (Юта) looks like

Yuta (Юта) is a large adult husky dog waiting at Happy Paw Dnipro in Ukraine.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇺🇦Adopting from Ukraine

Frequently asked

Adopting Yuta (Юта), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Yuta (Юта)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Happy Paw Dnipro handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Yuta (Юта) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Yuta (Юта) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Happy Paw Dnipro will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Yuta (Юта) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Yuta (Юта) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Happy Paw Dnipro early rather than rehoming privately; they know Yuta (Юта) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (UK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
