Ziggy is about to turn 10 years young in July, he is a happy, loving, healthy lad who’s mum has been taken into hospital for major surgery and won’t be able to look after him when she is allowed home. Ziggy has never been left because his owners were retired and since losing his dad he has been inseparable from his mum, he is now showing signs of clinginess and separation anxiety. We have been asked if we can find Ziggy a home or even an emergency foster home because his carer goes back home and to full time work on the weekend so poor Ziggy will have no one to look after him. Ziggy is a tripod after having surgery as a one year old and has always been very athletic and energetic on three legs. He’s a boy who loves everyone and loves to show people with lots of licks, even strangers get the full face wash. Ziggys always been fine with other dogs, he’s never seen a cat so his reactions are unknown. He has met and been fine with children and young family members but hasn’t lived with children. On walks he has a good recall and walks well on a slip lead or harness. He is fine around livestock and travels well in the car. Ziggy has lived with his mum from a puppy and has his KC paperwork. Lovely Ziggy is currently in the Bradford area and we will be looking as a matter of urgency for a home or even a foster by the end of this week. His owners son has said that he will help with transport if needed. If you feel you can take on this loving, cuddly fella please contact us.
