Zsani

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 8 years

Zsani, a quiet mixed-breed female dog (8 years old), is looking for her forever home. Zsani ended up at the animal shelter after being found alone on the streets of Hungary. No one was looking for her, and so far, no one has fallen in love with her, so she has been waiting a long time to finally be seen. We absolutely cannot understand this, because whoever adopts Zsani gets the absolute main prize. The dog is characterized by her extremely calm, friendly, and very people-oriented nature, without being pushy. She is infinitely balanced, patient, and behaves absolutely peacefully in every situation. Zsani loves to be stroked and cuddled. Walking on a leash is currently being practiced with her. Since Zsani is both dog-friendly, child-friendly, and family-friendly, she fits perfectly into a loving family environment. Children should already have an understanding for a pet protection dog. The pretty one is of course spayed, chipped, vaccinated, dewormed, examined by a veterinarian, has an EU pet passport, and will only be transferred to loving hands with a protection contract. The handover could take place in Berlin or alternatively in the Stuttgart area, provided someone falls in love with her and gives her a forever home. A new home is now urgently being sought for this dream dog. As always, we would like to point out that a dog from foreign animal protection needs time, patience, and a loving arrival. New impressions, new routines, and new bonds should be able to grow in peace. Whoever is willing to go this way together will be rewarded with a very special deep connection. If you are interested in an adoption or for further information, please write us a message or call us. About Zsani

What life with Zsani looks like

Zsani is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen in Ketzin.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Zsani, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Zsani?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Zsani on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Zsani if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Zsani already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Zsani isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen early rather than rehoming privately; they know Zsani and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
