Health status: He had a torn cruciate ligament and dislocated patellas— he’s now recovered from surgery. Żużelek has been through a lot in his life; he’s not one of the easiest dogs to handle. But once he trusts a human, he becomes an absolutely wonderful companion. He’s highly focused on his handler, knows recall commands, and responds well to “sit,” “kiss,” and “ask.” He can follow his handler closely and is steadily improving at learning to weave between legs in an eight-figure pattern. He’ll do just about anything for treats! Żużelek is definitely not a cuddle-bug—he needs someone who respects his personal space. He himself knows exactly when he’d like some interaction with his handler. He gets along differently with other dogs, so he’d need to take several walks with a resident dog before being adopted. Żużelek is looking for a home that is: – calm; – experienced in canine communication; – without small children; – with a gentle yet consistent owner; – and respectful of the dog’s needs and personal space.

Żużelek w swoim życiu wiele przeszedł, nie należy do najłatwiejszych psów, ale kiedy już zaufa człowiekowi staje się cudownym towarzyszem. Jest skupiony na opiekunie, zna hasło na przywołanie, „siad”, “buzi”, “poproś”. Potrafi podążać za opiekunem oraz coraz lepiej idzie mu nauka ósemki między nogami. Za smakołyki zrobi naprawdę dużo! Żużelek na pewno nie jest psem do przytulania, potrzebuje osoby, która będzie szanowała jego przestrzeń. Sam potrafi pokazać kiedy chce interakcji z opiekunem. Z psami różnie się dogaduje, dlatego musiałby odbyć kilka spacerów z psim rezydentem przed adopcją. Dla Żużelka szukamy domu: – spokojnego; – doświadczonego w temacie psiej komunikacji; – bez małych dzieci; – z nienachalnym, ale konsekwentnym opiekunem; – szanującego potrzeby i przestrzeń psa.
