Stor, venlig Norman er en følelsesfuld dreng, der elsker at få opmærksomhed og mavekørninger. Han elsker menneskefølge og kugle på sofabunken. Hans ophavstilbuddere beskriver ham som: "En stor blødmand, når han har forbindelse til dig." Han elsker at spille med bløde og skrigende legetøj, vil have et tuggy-spil med dig, og elsker at jage bold. Norman elsker sine ture i skove, åbne marker eller sikre hundekampe. Han bygger konfidens i trange omgivelser, og han er okay med passerede biler. Selvom han arbejder med sine sociale hundekanter, foretrækker han, at andre hunde giver ham plads, da han kan være bekymret, hvis de kommer for tæt. Han har lært at bære en mundprop som en færdighed, hvilket giver dig det ro i sindet. Generelt går Norman fint på snor. Hans favorittrejer er kylling, schmackos og squeezy ost! Norman kender sit, pote og vent. Efter sine ture og legetid elsker han at sove og have en søvn i sin seng. Norman er en seks år gammel Mastiff, der søger et kærligt hjem. Han kan dele sit hjem med børn fra 14 år og op. Han ønsker at være den eneste hund i hjemmet og har brug for et hjem uden katte eller små pelsdyr. Han har ingen historie med husdyr. Han er øjebliksvenlig over for nye mennesker og glad for besøgende i hjemmet. Han kan klare et rimeligt intensivt hjem. Når Norman føler sig indrettet i sit nye hjem, kan tiden alene gradvist øges, med hans ophavstilbuddere har han været fine i nogle timer ad gangen. Norman er trænet til at gå på toilettet og god til bilrejse.

If your idea of the perfect dog is affectionate, playful, gentle and always ready for a sofa snuggle, Norman might just be your boy. He absolutely loves affection and will happily soak up fuss, belly rubs and cuddles. When he isn’t snuggled up with his people, Norman enjoys playing with soft and squeaky toys, a good game of tug and chasing after a ball. He also loves enrichment activities, particularly his snuffle ball, and is always happy when his favourite treats – chicken, Schmackos or squeezy cheese – make an appearance! Norman enjoys getting out and about too. His favourite adventures are quieter walks through woodland and open fields, or trips to secure dog fields where he can relax, explore and enjoy the occasional Mastiff zoomie. He walks nicely on his lead, although the odd squirrel can understandably make things a little more exciting! Norman is still developing his confidence and social skills around other dogs and is happiest when they give him some space. His adopters will need to continue supporting him with this, but Norman responds brilliantly to calm reassurance, praise and treats and has learnt a helpful “this way” cue to move away and carry on with his walk. He has also been positively trained to wear a muzzle when out and about, giving his adopters another useful skill to help him enjoy his adventures comfortably. Norman really is a big, loveable softie looking for someone to give all that affection to. If you have space on your sofa and in your heart for a gentle giant, Norman could be your one-in-a-million companion. Norman is a gorgeous six-year-old Mastiff with a big heart and gentle nature. Currently living in a foster home, Norman has shown us what a wonderful companion he can be. He is housetrained, travels well in the car, settles beautifully at home and loves being part of family life. His foster carers describe him simply as “a big softie”, which sums him up perfectly. Norman could live with secondary school-aged children and is happy welcoming visitors into the home. He is looking to be the only pet, so will need a home without other dogs, cats or small furries. Norman loves company and would make a brilliant companion for someone who works from home, but he doesn’t need you by his side every minute of the day. In his foster home, he has been comfortable being left for a couple of hours at a time, and this could gradually be built up once he is settled into his new home. The best part of going out without him might just be coming home – Norman greets his foster carers with the happiest wiggles, bounces and excitement!
