Conoce a Woodstock; nuestro desordenado, delicioso y cariñoso lurcher que acaba de unirse a la familia. Woodstock llegó a nosotros como un pequeño muy estresado proveniente del refugio. No se desenvolvió bien en el refugio, encontrando todo demasiado abrumador y estresante para él. Notamos que durante las primeras horas de su llegada a Sun Valley, estaba un poco inquieto y nervioso, y aún no era muy confiado con las personas. Le dimos una novia lurcher para que compartiera su espacio, le dimos una buena carrera en el campo y luego una cena grande y deliciosa para calmarlo y mostrarle que la buena vida comienza ahora mismo. Woodstock se adaptó casi inmediatamente a su nuevo rutina y vida en Sun Valley, se convirtió en el tipo más loco y feliz de alrededor y todos lo adoramos absolutamente. Recibe mucha estimulación, confianza y amor de su novia Mary, por lo tanto idealmente preferiríamos que fuera a un hogar con otro perro. Se considerarán los hogares con niños mayores y creemos que sería un perro familiar legendario. Debido a sus nervios iniciales y a que le tomó un tiempo acostumbrarse a nuevas personas, creemos que sería mejor en un hogar más tranquilo que vaya a su ritmo y lo apoye mientras se adapta a su nueva vida y entorno. Woodstock es obviamente impresionante y recibirá MUCHA atención, pero por favor solo solicite si tiene el espacio y el tiempo para un lurcher joven y activo. Si quiere un perro para caminar largas distancias, aventuras de fin de semana, entrenamiento, etc., Woody sería un hermoso perro para considerar. Meet Woodstock; our scruffy, scrummy loveable lurcher who just joined the family! Woodstock came to us as a very stressed little guy from the pound. He really didn’t do well at the pound, finding it all way too overwhelming and stressful for him. We noticed for the first couple of hours of him coming to Sun Valley that he was a bit restless and nervous, and not too trusting of people yet. We gave him a lurcher girlfriend to share his space with, gave him a good run in the field and then a nice big dinner to settle him in and show him that the Good Life starts now! Woodstock pretty much immediately settled into his new routine and life here at Sun Valley, he has turned in to the goofiest, happiest guy around and we all absolutely adore him. He gets SO much enrichment, confidence and love from his girlfriend Mary, so ideally we’d like him to go into a home with another dog. Homes with older children will be considered and we think he’d make an absolutely legendary family pet. Because of his initial nerves and him taking a little time to warm up to new people, we think he’d do best in a more chilled out home that will go at his pace and stick by him as he settles in to his new life and surroundings. Woodstock is obviously stunning and will get a LOT of interest, but please only apply if you have the space and time for a young active lurcher. If you want a dog to do long walks with, weekend adventures, training etc.. Woody would be a lovely dog to consider! He’s a smashing dog with so much potential and love to give.
