Découvrez Woodstock ; notre chien de race lurcher, adorable et un peu négligé qui vient tout juste d’intégrer la famille ! Woodstock est arrivé chez nous très stressé, venant du refuge. Il n’allait pas bien au refuge, trouvant tout cela trop écrasant et stressant pour lui. Nous avons remarqué que, les premières heures de son arrivée à Sun Valley, il était un peu agité et nerveux, et pas encore très en confiance avec les gens. Nous lui avons offert une copine lurcher pour partager son espace, nous lui avons fait faire une bonne promenade dans le champ puis un bon gros repas pour le calmer et lui montrer que la bonne vie commence maintenant ! Woodstock s’est tout de suite adapté à sa nouvelle routine et à sa vie à Sun Valley, il est devenu le mec le plus drôle et le plus heureux autour et nous l’adorons tous. Il reçoit beaucoup d’enrichissement, de confiance et d’amour de sa copine Mary, donc idéalement nous aimerions qu’il aille dans une maison avec un autre chien. Les maisons avec des enfants plus âgés seront prises en considération et nous pensons qu’il ferait un excellent chien de famille. En raison de ses premières anxiétés et du fait qu’il ait besoin d’un peu de temps pour se réchauffer avec les nouvelles personnes, nous pensons qu’il irait mieux dans une maison plus calme qui respectera son rythme et restera à ses côtés pendant qu’il s’habitue à sa nouvelle vie et son environnement. Woodstock est évidemment magnifique et recevra beaucoup d’intérêt, mais veuillez ne postuler que si vous avez l’espace et le temps pour un jeune lurcher actif. Si vous voulez un chien pour de longues promenades, des aventures du week-end, de l’entraînement etc… Woody serait un chien sympathique à considérer ! C’est un excellent chien avec beaucoup de potentiel et d’amour à offrir. Pensez-vous pouvoir offrir un foyer aimant à un chien de chasse ? Meet Woodstock; our scruffy, scrummy loveable lurcher who just joined the family! Woodstock came to us as a very stressed little guy from the pound. He really didn’t do well at the pound, finding it all way too overwhelming and stressful for him. We noticed for the first couple of hours of him coming to Sun Valley that he was a bit restless and nervous, and not too trusting of people yet. We gave him a lurcher girlfriend to share his space with, gave him a good run in the field and then a nice big dinner to settle him in and show him that the Good Life starts now! Woodstock pretty much immediately settled into his new routine and life here at Sun Valley, he has turned in to the goofiest, happiest guy around and we all absolutely adore him. He gets SO much enrichment, confidence and love from his girlfriend Mary, so ideally we’d like him to go into a home with another dog. Homes with older children will be considered and we think he’d make an absolutely legendary family pet. Because of his initial nerves and him taking a little time to warm up to new people, we think he’d do best in a more chilled out home that will go at his pace and stick by him as he settles in to his new life and surroundings. Woodstock is obviously stunning and will get a LOT of interest, but please only apply if you have the space and time for a young active lurcher. If you want a dog to do long walks with, weekend adventures, training etc.. Woody would be a lovely dog to consider! He’s a smashing dog with so much potential and love to give.
