Elle est arrivée chez nous par ambulance et, malheureusement, n’a pas pu retourner dans son précédent foyer. Au début, Porsche a trouvé le changement accablant et était très effrayée, mais avec le temps, la patience et une routine, elle s’est calmée et est maintenant beaucoup plus heureuse. Elle aura besoin d’un maître expérimenté qui comprend les races de chiens confiants et puissants et qui pourra continuer son entraînement. Porsche est forte en laisse et peut être réactive envers d’autres chiens, bien qu’elle ait montré qu’elle puisse établir des relations positives. Elle apprécie particulièrement les promenades avec l’un de nos chiens mâles, Spud, et le fait calmement et joyeusement. Porsche peut être méfiante envers les personnes inconnues et peut aboyer lorsqu’elle se sent incertaine, donc les présentations devront être gérées soigneusement et à son rythme. Une fois qu’elle vous connaît, cependant, elle est très affectueuse et apprécie le contact physique : elle salue le personnel avec enthousiasme et adore se tendre pour attirer l’attention lorsqu’elle sort de sa cage. En tant que Boxer, Porsche aime le jeu et le temps en extérieur. Elle adore particulièrement regarder et poursuivre les oiseaux dans la cour, les mouettes étant une favorite particulière. Les Boxers sont des chiens intelligents, énergiques et axés sur les humains, et Porsche montre tous ces traits. Elle bénéficiera d’exercices réguliers, de stimulation mentale et de limites claires et cohérentes. En ce qui concerne les soins, les Boxers ont un pelage court facile à entretenir avec un brossage occasionnel. Ils bénéficient le plus d’une routine structurée et d’un entraînement basé sur la récompense positive. En tant que race, ils forment des liens forts avec leur maître et prospèrent dans les maisons où ils reçoivent du temps, des conseils et de la compagnie. Porsche cherche un environnement calme et compréhensif avec des maîtres expérimentés prêts à investir dans son éducation et à l’aider à continuer les progrès qu’elle a déjà accomplis. She arrived with us via ambulance and, sadly, was unable to return to her previous home. Initially, Porsche found the change overwhelming and was very frightened, but with time, patience, and routine she has settled and is now a much happier dog. She will need an experienced dog owner who understands confident, strong breeds and can continue her training. Porsche is strong on the lead and can be reactive to other dogs, although she has shown that she can build positive relationships. She particularly enjoys walking with one of our male dogs, Spud, and does so calmly and happily. Porsche can be wary of unfamiliar people and may bark when she feels unsure, so introductions will need to be managed carefully and at her pace. Once she knows you, however, she is very affectionate and enjoys physical contact — she greets the staff enthusiastically and loves stretching up for attention when coming out of her kennel. True to her Boxer nature, Porsche enjoys play and time outdoors. She especially loves watching and chasing birds in the pen, with seagulls being a particular favourite. Boxers are intelligent, energetic, and people-focused dogs, and Porsche shows all of these traits. She will benefit from regular exercise, mental stimulation, and clear, consistent boundaries. In terms of care, Boxers have short coats that are easy to maintain with occasional brushing. They do best with structured routines and positive reinforcement training. As a breed, they form strong bonds with their owners and thrive in homes where they receive time, guidance, and companionship. Porsche is looking for a calm, understanding home with experienced owners who are prepared to invest in her training and helping her continue the progress she has already made.
