Nous avons été contactés concernant une chienne qui avait donné naissance sous un bâtiment vide. La mère était très méfiante envers nous et s'occupait très bien des petits, donc nous allions chaque jour nourrir la mère et vérifier les chiots. Un jour, lors de notre arrivée, ils avaient disparu. Nous avons plus tard appris qu'ils avaient été enlevés et abandonnés dans la forêt. Nous avons réussi à les retrouver et à les ramener au refuge. Shumba était l'un de ces chiots. Il est toujours au refuge et est maintenant âgé, mais cela ne l'empêche pas d'être un jeune homme heureux et affectueux.

We were contacted about a mother dog who had given birth under an empty building. The mother was very wary of us and was doing a great job with the babies so we would go daily to feed the mum and check on the pups. One day when we arrived they were gone. We later found out that they had been taken and dumped in the forest. We managed to find them and take them back to the shelter. Shumba was one of those pups. He is still at the shelter and is getting old now but that doesn't stop him from being a happy, loving boy.
