16-05-26 Xenon è arrivata da un allevatore e ora cerca un affettuoso e permanente ambiente domestico dove iniziare una nuova vita. È sopraffatta di trovarsi qui e non ha avuto molta interazione con le persone prima, quindi al momento può essere molto ansiosa quando viene manipolata. È particolarmente nervosa quando si trova nella sua gabbia e scappa da te, tuttavia, una volta fuori dalla sua gabbia inizia a uscire dal suo guscio e si arrampicherà accanto a te nel recinto di gioco. Sta già cercando di essere coraggiosa e, con il tempo, la pazienza e tanti atti d'amore, pensiamo che possa fiorire in una casa. Anche se Xenon è una ragazza preoccupata, crediamo che sarebbe meglio adottarla come unica cane poiché non è interessata a condividere il suo spazio con altri cani. Cercherà una casa tranquilla e silenziosa dove gli adottatori siano presenti la maggior parte del tempo. Avrà bisogno di adottatori che hanno esperienza con cani timidi in salvaguardia e che lasceranno a lei di abituarsi al suo ritmo e potremmo considerare l'adozione con adolescenti più grandi, esperti di cani, di età 16+. Poiché Xenon non ha mai vissuto in una casa prima, gli adottatori dovranno essere pazienti e comprensivi mentre impara tutto sulle vite domestiche e nuove competenze come l'addestramento in casa. Sta appena iniziando a imparare a camminare con guinzaglio e collare e avrà bisogno di continuo supporto e pratica man mano che cresce la sua fiducia. Con il tempo, amore e gentilezza inizierà a lasciarsi alle spalle il suo passato e realizzarà quanto meraviglioso possa essere il suo futuro.

16-05-26 Xenon has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a loving forever home where she can begin her new life. She is overwhelmed to find herself here and clearly hasn’t had much human interaction before, so she can be quite anxious about being handled at the moment. She is especially nervous when inside her kennel and will run away from you, however, once she is out of her kennel she begins to come out of her shell and will even snuggle up next to you in the play yard. She is already trying so hard to be brave and with time, patience and plenty of TLC, we think she will flourish in a home. Although Xenon is a worried girl, we feel she would be best suited to being homed as an only dog as she isn't keen on sharing her space with other dogs. She will be looking for a calm and quiet home where her adopters are around most of the time. She would need adopters who have experience with scared rescue dogs and who will let her settle in at her own pace and we may consider homing her with older, dog savvy teenagers 16+. As Xenon has never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be patient and understanding while she learns all about home life and new skills such as house training. She is just starting to learn about walking on a lead and harness and will need continued support and practice as her confidence grows. With time, love and kindness she will begin to leave her past behind her and realise just how wonderful her future can be.
