16-05-26 Xenon ha llegado a nosotros de un criador y ahora busca un hogar amoroso para siempre donde pueda comenzar su nueva vida. Está abrumada al encontrarse aquí y claramente no ha tenido mucha interacción humana antes, por lo que en este momento puede ser bastante ansiosa al ser manipulada. Es especialmente nerviosa cuando está dentro de su jaula y huirá de ti, sin embargo, una vez fuera de su jaula comienza a salir de su caparazón y hasta se acurrucará junto a ti en el patio de juego. Ya está tratando muy duro de ser valiente y con el tiempo, paciencia y mucho cariño, creemos que prosperará en un hogar. Aunque Xenon es una chica preocupada, creemos que sería más adecuado que sea adoptada como único perro ya que no le gusta compartir su espacio con otros perros. Buscará un hogar tranquilo y silencioso donde sus adoptantes estén la mayor parte del tiempo. Necesitará adoptantes que tengan experiencia con perros rescatados temerosos y que le permitan adaptarse a su propio ritmo, y podríamos considerar su adopción con adolescentes mayores de 16 años que sean expertos en perros. Como Xenon nunca ha vivido en un hogar antes, sus adoptantes deberán ser pacientes y comprensivos mientras ella aprende todo sobre la vida en casa y nuevas habilidades como el entrenamiento en casa. Está comenzando a aprender sobre caminar con correa y arnés y necesitará apoyo y práctica continua a medida que crezca su confianza. Con el tiempo, el amor y la bondad, comenzará a dejar atrás su pasado y darse cuenta de lo maravilloso que puede ser su futuro.

16-05-26 Xenon has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a loving forever home where she can begin her new life. She is overwhelmed to find herself here and clearly hasn’t had much human interaction before, so she can be quite anxious about being handled at the moment. She is especially nervous when inside her kennel and will run away from you, however, once she is out of her kennel she begins to come out of her shell and will even snuggle up next to you in the play yard. She is already trying so hard to be brave and with time, patience and plenty of TLC, we think she will flourish in a home. Although Xenon is a worried girl, we feel she would be best suited to being homed as an only dog as she isn't keen on sharing her space with other dogs. She will be looking for a calm and quiet home where her adopters are around most of the time. She would need adopters who have experience with scared rescue dogs and who will let her settle in at her own pace and we may consider homing her with older, dog savvy teenagers 16+. As Xenon has never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be patient and understanding while she learns all about home life and new skills such as house training. She is just starting to learn about walking on a lead and harness and will need continued support and practice as her confidence grows. With time, love and kindness she will begin to leave her past behind her and realise just how wonderful her future can be.
