Cu urechi care se îndreptă în orice direcție, dar nu în sus, Baxter este unul dintre cei mai recunoscuți și cei mai aiuriți câini de la centrul nostru Merseyside! Are trei ani și plin de potență, doar că are nevoie ca eroul să vină să-l cunoască. Necesitătele lui sunt destul de specifice, dar vei fi răsplătit cu o dragoste și devotament pe tot parcursul vieții și e garantat că vei avea multe râsuri în timp. Baxter este foarte inteligent și este un băiat foarte iubitor odată ce s-a așezat lângă tine. Își iubește sesiunile de antrenament cu prietena sa cea mai bună Rachel și a făcut progrese mari, învățând să-și controleze impulsurile de „băiat aiurit”! El merge perfect la coardă și apreciază compania altor câini, dar este prea fizic în joc pentru a fi liber cu ei, iar deoarece este un câine atât de puternic, trebuie să fim atenți să nu devină prea amețit și accidental să supere pe cineva! Iubește să joace cu jucăriile lui și a învățat să se calmeze fericit singur, destul de mulțumit de compania lui. Baxter a muncit foarte mult pentru a deveni prietenul minunat pe care îl este și acest lucru a ajutat la formularea unor planuri de antrenament pentru el acasă. Este un câine atât de iubit și iubit, merită să-și găsească propria familie, doar că aceasta trebuie să fie rezistentă și pregătită pentru antrenament! Baxter caută o casă unde copiii sunt peste 16 ani și el poate fi singurul animal de companie. Familie lui va trebui să fie angajată în antrenament continuu pentru a lucra la controlul impulsurilor și la abilitățile sociale. With incredibly expressive ears that tell you just what he is thinking, Baxter is one of the most recognizable dogs at the centre and is not short of an admirer or two. With a fondness for training, lots of potential and bags of personality he is ready and waiting for his hero adopter to come and meet him so that he can reward them with a lifetime of love and devotion, and more than a few laughs along the way! Baxter and his trainer and best pal Rachel are a well known double act here at the centre and he has recently been enjoying the luxuries of Rachel’s home in foster. Rachel says that he has made incredible progress and although he still has the odd daft lad impulse, he has been a pleasure to have and cuddle up with at home. Despite his size and power he walks beautifully on lead and enjoys the company of four legged walking buds, although this should be kept to on lead meetings as he can get a little OTT. At Rachel’s house he has shown that he is more than content in his own company and settles himself nicely. Baxter has worked so hard to become the wonderful companion that we know he will be. He is a loving and incredibly lovable dog who has waited a long time to find the family he so deserves. Baxter is looking for a home where any children are over 16 and he can be the only pet. His family will need to be committed to following his ongoing training plan to give him the best possible chance at settling into his new home. Baxter is fully house trained and does enjoy some solo time, so once settled could be left long enough to fit around standard working hours.
