Con le orecchie che puntano in qualsiasi direzione tranne verso l'alto, Baxter è uno dei cani più riconoscibili e buffi del nostro centro Merseyside! Ha tre anni ed è pieno di potenziale, ha solo bisogno del suo eroe per andare a conoscerlo. Le sue esigenze sono abbastanza particolari, ma sarai ricompensato con una vita intera d'amore e dedizione e sei sicuro di avere delle risate lungo la strada. Baxter è estremamente intelligente ed è un ragazzo molto tenero una volta che si è ambientato con te. Adora le sue sessioni di addestramento con il suo migliore amico Rachel e ha fatto grandi progressi, imparando a gestire i suoi impulsi da ragazzone! Cammina perfettamente al guinzaglio e apprezzare la compagnia degli altri cani, ma è troppo fisico nel gioco per essere slegato con loro, e visto che è un cane così potente dobbiamo fare attenzione che non diventi troppo eccitato e non cada accidentalmente su qualcuno! Ama giocare con i suoi giochi e ha imparato a calmarsi felicemente da solo, contento della sua compagnia. Baxter ha lavorato tantissimo per diventare l'amico meraviglioso che è e questo ci ha aiutati a formulare piani di addestramento per lui a casa. È un cane molto dolce e affettuoso e merita di trovare la sua propria famiglia, loro devono solo essere robusti e pronti ad alcuni addestramenti! Baxter cerca una casa dove i bambini siano over 16 e lui possa essere l'unico animale domestico. La sua famiglia dovrà essere impegnata nell'addestramento continuo per lavorare sul controllo degli impulsi e sulle capacità sociali. Baxter è completamente addestrato in casa ma potrebbe aver bisogno di un ripasso, e gli piace un po' di tempo da solo anche se questo potrebbe dover essere costruito gradualmente mentre si abitua.

With ears that point any which way but up, Baxter is one of the most recognisable and daftest dogs at our Merseyside centre! He’s three years old and full of potential, he just needs his hero to come and meet him. His needs are quite particular, but you’ll be rewarded with a lifetime of love and devotion and are absolutely guaranteed some laughs along the way. Baxter is incredibly intelligent and is a very cuddly boy once he's settled with you. He adores his training sessions with his best pal Rachel, and has made great progress, learning to manage his daft lad impulses! He walks beautifully on his lead and enjoys the company of other dogs, but he is way too physical in play to be off lead with them, and as he’s such a powerful dog we have to be careful he doesn’t get too giddy and accidentally upset someone! He loves to play with his toys and has learnt to settle happily by himself, quite content with his own company. Baxter has worked so very hard to become the wonderful friend he is and this has helped us formulate training plans for him in the home. He is such a loving and lovable dog and deserves to find his own family, they just need to be robust and up for some training! Baxter is looking for a home where any children are over 16 and he can be the only pet. His family will need to be committed to ongoing training to work on his impulse control and social skills. Baxter is fully house trained but may need a refresher, and he does enjoy some solo time although that may have to be built up gradually whilst he settles in.
