Since September, Abruzzo has been living in a loving foster home and has already learned a lot during this time. He now knows what life in a household is like, is house-trained, walks very well on a leash, and calms down nicely in everyday life. Stable routines, human proximity, and security clearly benefit him. Abruzzo shows a readiness to learn, attentiveness, and openness to new things – a dog who wants to please and forms a close bond with his people. His mother is a Labrador, perhaps there is also some shepherd blood in his veins – what can be said for sure is that Abruzzo has the potential to become a wonderful family dog. Abruzzo is approximately 2.5 years old, about 54 cm tall, and weighs around 23 kg – an ideal medium size. He has a gentle, friendly nature and approaches people openly and warmly. He gets along well with fellow animals and shows social and playful behavior. Abruzzo likes children, but they should already be bigger and more stable. Abruzzo's life began anything but easy. Together with his mother Maya, he was abandoned. Probably out of hunger, both found themselves in a dangerous situation – luckily, animal welfare workers intervened in time and brought them to safety. Despite these experiences, Abruzzo never lost his trust in people. Abruzzo is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated and has an EU pet passport. Seit September lebt Abruzzo in einer liebevollen Pflegestelle und hat in dieser Zeit schon unglaublich viel gelernt. Er kennt mittlerweile das Leben im Haushalt, ist stubenrein, läuft sehr gut an der Leine und kommt im Alltag schön zur Ruhe. Feste Abläufe, menschliche Nähe und Sicherheit tun ihm sichtlich gut. Abruzzo zeigt sich lernbereit, aufmerksam und offen für Neues – ein Hund, der gefallen möchte und sich eng an seine Menschen bindet. Seine Mama ist ein Labrador, vielleicht fließt auch etwas Schäferhundblut durch seine Adern – was man jedoch mit Sicherheit sagen kann: Abruzzo besitzt das Potenzial zu einem wundervollen Familienhund Abruzzo ist ca. 2,5 Jahre alt, etwa 54 cm groß und wiegt rund 23 kg – eine ideale mittlere Größe.
