I may not be the boldest or most aggressive kitten at first, but give me some time and I'm sure I can win your heart. I am a sweet and sensitive girl who really wants to connect with you, although new things sometimes still seem a bit scary. Every day I take small steps forward and I'm secretly quite proud of that. My favorite hobby? Cloths! A bath mat, tea towel or other piece of fabric becomes the most wonderful toy for me. I love playing with it, crawling underneath it or proudly dragging it around the room as if I had caught a huge prey. And as soon as a feather comes out to play, my shyness melts away. Then I'm a real hunter and have only one goal: catch that feather! I also love getting treats from time to time. That helps me feel relaxed and gain more confidence. Afterwards, I like to find a quiet spot to take it all in. I enjoy observing the world first before deciding whether or not to join in. I am healthy and don't need any special medical care or diet. All I ask for is a little patience. I probably won't jump onto your lap on the first day, but if you give me time, you will see that I become braver and braver. With people I know well, I already show how sweet I am more often. I like to purr, seek out their company and I think there is a real cuddly cat hiding inside of me deep down. I grew up among my brothers, sisters and adult cats. From them, I still learn every day and I get a lot of support from their companionship. That's why the staff at Stichting ROZE would be very happy if I could move in with one of my brothers or sisters, or find myself a home with a friendly, social cat. That would really help me to quickly find my footing in my new house as well. I grow up in a family with young children and that works out fine, but I think I'll be happiest in a household where everyone understands that sometimes I just need some time to come out of my shell. Misschien val ik niet meteen op als de stoerste of brutaalste kitten, maar geef mij een beetje tijd en ik weet zeker dat ik een plekje in je hart verover. Ik ben een lief en gevoelig meisje dat heel graag contact wil maken, alleen vind ik nieuwe dingen soms nog een beetje spannend. Elke dag zet ik weer kleine stapjes vooruit en daar ben ik stiekem best trots op. Mijn favoriete hobby? Doekjes! Een badmatje, theedoek of ander rondslingerend lapje verandert voor mij direct in het allerleukste speelgoed. Ik kan er heerlijk mee stoeien, eronder kruipen of het trots door de kamer slepen alsof ik een enorme prooi heb gevangen. En zodra er een speelveertje tevoorschijn komt, verandert mijn verlegenheid als sneeuw voor de zon. Dan ben ik een echte jager en heb ik nog maar één doel: dat veertje vangen! Ik vind het ook heerlijk om af en toe iets lekkers te krijgen. Dat helpt mij om me ontspannen te voelen en steeds meer vertrouwen te krijgen. Daarna zoek ik graag een rustig plekje op om alles eens goed te bekijken. Ik houd ervan om de wereld eerst rustig te observeren voordat ik besluit mee te doen. Ik ben gezond en heb geen speciale medische zorg of dieet nodig. Het enige wat ik vraag, is een beetje geduld. Ik zal waarschijnlijk niet op de eerste dag bij je op schoot springen, maar als je mij de tijd geeft, zul je zien dat ik steeds dapperder word. Bij de mensen die ik goed ken, laat ik al steeds vaker zien hoe lief ik ben. Ik spin graag, zoek de nabijheid op en ik denk dat er diep van binnen een echte knuffelkat in mij verstopt zit. Ik ben opgegroeid tussen mijn broertjes, zusjes en volwassen katten. Van hen leer ik nog iedere dag en ik haal veel steun uit hun gezelschap. Daarom zouden de medewerkers van Stichting ROZE het heel fijn vinden als ik samen met één van mijn broertjes of zusjes mag verhuizen, of terechtkom bij een sociale, vriendelijke kat. Dat zou mij enorm helpen om ook in mijn nieuwe huis snel mijn draai te vinden. Ik groei op in een gezin met jonge kinderen en dat gaat prima, maar ik denk dat ik het gelukkigst word in een gezin waar iedereen begrijpt dat ik soms even de tijd nodig heb om uit mijn schulp te kruipen.
